Object Oriented UX

Understand the relationships of objects in the system, and represent each one consistently across the app.

Journey Mapping

Understand key tasks end-to-end from the user's point of view to build empathy and remove friction.

Method Acting

Become a user of the app you are trying to redesign before redesigning it. Otherwise you're just guessing.

Task Priority

Have users rank tasks by frequency and importance to prioritize the backlog and inform visual hierarchy.

Minimalism

In trying to design the simplest machine, ask what can be removed instead of what can be added.

ABC

Always be curious. Whether it be users, stakeholders, or developers, never stop asking questions.
